It's our farmhouse-with-copper-accents take on the 399-sqft platform, a clear sister model to the Hayden (coastal cottage) and the Cedar Ridge (modern farmhouse, darker palette).
Outside, the Cardinal is the one buyers spot from across the lot. White vertical board-and-batten siding from base to gable, white columns and white horizontal cable-railing on the front porch, and a copper-toned metal roof that runs the full length of the home and over the gabled porch overhang. The peaked gable carries an X-truss accent in painted white, so the structure of the porch becomes part of the curb appeal. Wood-deck porch flooring, white five-panel front door, raised on the chassis with white skirting.
Inside, the Cardinal goes vault-to-loft. This home travels as a single section approximately 12 feet wide. The standard legal load width on US highways is 8 feet 6 inches, so the move requires an oversize permit from every state on the route.
