About the The Dallas 14x56

Coastal-southwest 758-sqft park model with patterned-tile backsplash, walnut kitchen island, vaulted bedroom with crown moulding. From $60,899.

The Dallas is a 758-square-foot park model — 1 bedroom, 1 bath, ANSI A119.5 certified, road-legal as a recreational vehicle. It mixes two styles most builders keep separate: coastal-modern (navy accents, vaulted white ceilings) and southwestern-warm (walnut wood island, patterned-tile backsplash). The result reads more residential than typical park-model RVs.

Outside, the body splits between dark-grey board-and-batten siding on the bedroom end and white horizontal lap on the gable end, with a covered white front porch carrying a shaker-style triangular truss accent. Modern black horizontal-cable railing between white posts. White front door with sidelight transom. Substantial landscaping on display — concrete steps with railings, manicured shrubs, and grass surround. The mixed-material exterior is a step up from single-color park-model siding.

Inside, the living room sits behind a French-door style entry with a sidelight. White shaker built-ins flank the front, a tan-and-navy upholstered seating arrangement centers the room, and a light-grey decorative beam crosses the vaulted white ceiling under the crown moulding band. The kitchen is the centerpiece: white shaker uppers and lowers on the perimeter, a walnut-stained island with a white quartz waterfall top, stainless side-by-side fridge with water dispenser, dark-grey range, and — the visual hook — a folk-art patterned ceramic-tile backsplash in black, white, and grey behind the range. A second decorative beam crosses the kitchen ceiling.

The dining nook tucks against paired sash windows with modern white Eames-style chairs around a round white pedestal table, with a large abstract ocean-scape print above. The bedroom continues the vaulted-with-crown-moulding architecture: tan upholstered headboard, navy chevron throw, dark-walnut chevron-faced dresser, sunburst-style stripped-wood mirror, white closet door, ceiling fan. Bath uses a white shaker vanity, marble-look laminate top, white tub-shower combo, and southwestern cactus-print art.

Transport & Siting Notes for This Plan

This home travels as a single section approximately 14 feet wide. The standard legal load width on US highways is 8 feet 6 inches, so the move requires an oversize permit from every state on the route. At this width most states also require pilot or escort vehicles and restrict movement to daylight hours.

At 56 feet long, turning radius matters at every corner between the highway and your pad, and the pad itself needs to be level and compacted across the full 14-foot width with working room at the perimeter. Read more about route surveys, permits and site access for delivery.

As a single-section home there is no mating line and no utility crossover to complete on site, which makes set-up simpler than for a multi-section home. Piers are placed on footings beneath the steel chassis beams, with ground anchors and tie-down straps sized to the wind zone on the data plate.

Footings must bear on undisturbed soil at or below the local frost depth, and the finished grade should fall away from the home so surface water does not collect beneath it. See what site preparation and installation involve, or check the FAQ on zoning, permits and financing before committing to a plan.
