About the The Hudson 16x74
The kitchen-living zone is the visual showpiece. Light grey walls with white shaker upper cabinets sitting above a dark-walnut-stained island base — a high-contrast pairing that immediately reads architectural. Granite-look countertops with stainless French-door fridge, brushed-stainless cabinet pulls, and an open white shelving unit beside the kitchen displaying greenery and books. Eames-style white molded-plastic dining chairs surround a white tulip-base round dining table by a window.
In the living area: two cinnabar/orange upholstered accent chairs serve as the color punch against a soft grey sofa and a beige knit ottoman. Side tables with bronze lamps frame each end of the sofa, and a ceiling fan with dark-bronze blades and a center light fixture anchors the room. Cool-grey-toned vinyl wood-plank flooring runs throughout.
Three bedrooms branch off a central hall: primary suite at one end with private bath, two smaller bedrooms sharing the hall bath. Every bedroom gets a casement window for natural light.
Spec: 1,140 sq ft, 3BR/2BA, HUD-certified single-wide, 14′ transport width, foundation install. From $77,899 factory-direct.
Featured on our Oregon state page alongside the Rado. Choose the Hudson if the interior aesthetic matters more than the exterior — same square footage as our other 1,140-1,153 sq ft 3BRs, but the photo-ready interior styling is in a different league.

Transport & Siting Notes for This Plan
This home travels as a single section approximately 16 feet wide. The standard legal load width on US highways is 8 feet 6 inches, so the move requires an oversize permit from every state on the route. At this width most states also require pilot or escort vehicles and restrict movement to daylight hours.
At 74 feet long, turning radius matters at every corner between the highway and your pad, and the pad itself needs to be level and compacted across the full 16-foot width with working room at the perimeter. Read more about route surveys, permits and site access for delivery.
As a single-section home there is no mating line and no utility crossover to complete on site, which makes set-up simpler than for a multi-section home. Piers are placed on footings beneath the steel chassis beams, with ground anchors and tie-down straps sized to the wind zone on the data plate.
Footings must bear on undisturbed soil at or below the local frost depth, and the finished grade should fall away from the home so surface water does not collect beneath it. See what site preparation and installation involve, or check the FAQ on zoning, permits and financing before committing to a plan.
